ORIGINAL MUSIC
YOUR FILM
FREE TO USE
Human artistry deserves a place in every film regardless of budget, especially in an age where AI-generated content is becoming increasingly commonplace.
That's why I'm opening up my catalogue of original music to filmmakers everywhere. Every track has been composed and crafted by a human musician, with its own musical identity, character and emotional intent.
Choose any track from the catalogue and get a free, perpetual sync and master-use license for your project. No licensing fees, no lengthy negotiations, no waiting weeks for approval.
Just find the music that fits your film, fill out the short form, and I'll take care of the paperwork.
Your film deserves music chosen for what it has to say, not just what you can afford.

Frequently asked questions
-
When you use an existing recording of music in a film, video game or other audiovisual project, you generally need permission for two things: the underlying musical composition and the specific sound recording.
A synchronisation (sync) license covers the composition itself, including the melody and arrangement. A master-use license covers the particular audio recording you're using.
My catalogue license includes both, so you don't need to track down separate rights holders or negotiate two different agreements. Everything is handled in one straightforward license.
-
Yes! You can license one track from my catalogue for your project completely free of charge.
The license is perpetual, meaning it doesn't expire, and it's valid worldwide across all media and distribution platforms, including film festivals, cinemas, streaming services, television, websites and social media.
There are no recurring licensing fees and you can continue using the music in your licensed project indefinitely.
-
You can use the music in short films, feature films, documentaries, web series, video games and other audiovisual projects.
The license also covers trailers, teasers, clips, social-media posts and any other promotional materials directly related to your project.
The important thing to remember is that the license applies to one specific project. If you want to use the same track in a separate production, you'll need a separate license for that project.
-
Absolutely. You can trim the track, shorten it, loop sections, add fades, adjust its timing and make other practical edits to fit your project.
The only restriction is that these changes must be for use within your licensed project and its related promotional materials. The license doesn't give you permission to create and release a separate remix or standalone version of the music.
-
No. There is no licensing fee, and you don't owe me a share of your film's revenue simply because you use my music.
I retain ownership of the music and its recording, including the associated copyright, publishing rights and royalty interests. You retain the rights and earnings associated with your own project.
Any royalties attributable to the music itself remain mine, in accordance with the license and applicable rights arrangements.
-
Yes. Please credit me as:

Include this credit in your project's opening or closing credits and in relevant industry databases such as IMDb where applicable.
For trailers, teasers and social-media posts featuring the music, include the credit wherever reasonably practicable. Where the platform allows it, please also tag me:

It's simple:
Browse the catalogue to find a track you like and note its track number.
Fill out the form just above this section with your details and information about your project.
That’s it! Once I receive the form I’ll send to your email both the full resolution track and the license.
-
Of course! Transparency matters, so you can read the full agreement here before committing to anything.
-
The license covers one specific project, including its distribution and related promotional materials. It doesn't automatically cover a different film, game, advertisement or production.
If you'd like to use the same track in another project, simply get in touch to arrange a separate license.

I believe independent filmmakers should have access to original, human-made music even when their budgets are limited.
I've created this catalogue to make it easier for filmmakers to discover music that connects with their stories, without licensing costs getting in the way. If one of my tracks helps bring your project to life, that's a good outcome for both of us.
